The marriage certificate I would like is Name: Donald H Organ Spouse Surname: Dorothy R M Chadwick Date of Registration: Jul-Aug-Sep 1940 Registration district: Barton Registration county (inferred): Greater Manchester, Lancashire Volume Number: 8c Page Number: 2017 It is asking for a GRO index number. What is this and where do I find it? without this I have to put in the exact day/month/year of marriage and I don't know this! Any help please. Thank you
