Unfortunately you cannot merge them and you cannot delete if they are connected to more than one person.
Decide which one you want to delete and delete all the people connected to them starting with the eldest and or the youngest.

Hi
I have accidently put an ancestor in my tree three times by mistake! I have tried to delete two but are unable to as the have other members attached. Because of that the lines have been split! Any help with this would be great!
