I would like to thank those on here who encouraged me to google my ancestors.
I received a copy of a death certificate for Charlotte Sabourin which said that she died a violent death in 1866. I decided to google her to see if there was a newspaper article.

I found a whole lot of information on her grandson Charles who was in the first world war. Someone has researched him for their village project and it has photos of him too! Poor chap lost his leg and went to stay in a hospital in the village of Chailey, sussex.
Anyone interested can look on www.chailey 1914-1918.net
