Does anyone know how I would be able to research home children who were sent to Canada by Dr Barnardos and other agencys during the early part of the nineteenth century. Thanks Jan

you can search for them by name on this website but you cant find what happened to them after arrival.

You can look for them on the 1901 and 1911 Canadian censuses here, if the time frame fits :

Sometimes these children were adopted by the families that took them so had their surnames changed.
