ftm query with 2 sets of parents

hi
i wonder if anyone could give me some advice i have family tree maker 2005 and i have arelative who was adopted and have bothe sets of parents for them. i..e birth parents and adopted parents. is there a way i can input the 2 lots of parents ???

if its just for your own use, you can invent a generation, c

Child that was adopted has parent called Birth line & Adopted line ( as though that was their names) each of those can then have two parents - one set the birth parents and the other the adoptive ones.

Its slightly confusing but as long as you understand, does it matter?

I just add one of the adoptive parents as partner to one of the birth parents.
You can then follow and/or change parents at will.
Just explain what you have done in the notes.
