Maltese and German Records

Try this for Malta if the address Keith posted does not open.

My late brother was born in Malta in 1945 and I ordered the certificate on line without any problem.

For Germany, you need to know the the region that the event took place in and apply to the registrar for that region, there are no central records available.

Would Anyone have any idea how you start to find records in both Malta and Germany?
