Hi there,
Is there anyone out there that can help. I want to find out if a John Wood born approx 1819 is living in Tickhill in the 1851 census possibly a butcher. I want to discount him from my search, as i have two John Wood in Tickhill and i want to know if my John Wood, not the one above is indeed from an unmarried woman. Also if there is an Elizabeth Robinson living in the village around the same time.

Are you trying to work backwards from the two in 1861

One 1814 living in Tickhill and the other 1821 in St Pancras - this one is an apprentice linen draper

Just looked at the image for John 1814 Tickhill - butcher - age is 67. Got a son age 35 with him

Think I can find him on 1851
