Hi Lou,

I can not find Lydia on the 1900 census.

On the image for Cornelius it has a mark next to the colume for married.

so i dont know if it could mean he is a widow!

Regards
Val

Hi Val and Mgnv,

Many thanks for your help. That will explain why I've tried before to find the 1891 census and failed.

Val thanks for the info. I notice there is no mention of his wife Lydia, yet it says's he's married which infers she's alive. I don't suppose you could search for her for me to see where she is?

Thanks again to you both,

Regards, Lou

Hi am looking for family who emigrated around 1880. I have their emigration papers but am looking for them in 1891. Can anyone help me please? They lived in Pennslyvania.

Thanks Lou
