Please email site management whenever you encounter stupidity like this (or the problems with the site many have experienced today - non-loading pages, being signed out).

I have been waiting for a reply (let alone a fix) to a report about the non-functioning search function I made 6 weeks ago. The problem is similar: if you try to execute a search of the board you get into an endless loading loop that can be stopped by reloading, which produces the search results. Except today, even that isn't working.

Logged out and then tried a different link,which has worked but the pages are slow to the point I could punch the screen!! When I finally got in the tree it loaded up and then stopped and my rellies details turned into a small square with a red cross in it!!..I have allowed pop ups,downloaded again macromedia and refreshed..will call it a day as I am getting worked up..back to Ancestry,at least I can work on there...the slowness of Genes is one of the reasons I gave up adding to my tree..slow over-rolling pages and typing not in sequence with me!!!
Anyway thanks for suggestions ...nice of you to try and help...

I think the site is on a go slow. I'm not the only one who has had problems logging in and a few people seem to have been logged out once or twice. It'll probably be OK later or tomorrow!

For the last 20 minutes or so, I have had problems with pages loading.
One took so long that I eventually got an error message and it gave me the option of returning to the home page. Tried that and it showed an error when it eventually finished loading!

Seems ok at the moment, but it is a bit on the slow side.

Had lots of problems on freebmd too. Either just loading or freebmd server busy message.

Must be an overload!

I have tried to view my tree by clicking on family tree and also via the home page by clicking on a name to edit..nothing is happening..I also tried to see if this question had been answerd before but the page keeps loading and says I will be redirected in a few seconds..that was half an hour ago!.Any ideas on what has happened please?..thank you...
