Hi Erin we meet again xx

Erin, I have just grabbed my folder and found I am a total and complete idiot and a classic at that.
The page I have printed off was the wrong one, not showing the correct family names and more seriously I didnt record which Irish family bmd and baptism info site I got the info from. I cannot believe I did this as I have been so meticulous with recording all other sources of info .

Please do bear with me whilst I search for the source. Strong words will be said to me by me !

Julia....You have a ref.to a Baptismal Record....Galway....Well it depends on where you obtained the Ref from as to the whether it was Galway Town or the Co.Galway...

Can you state the source and I will see if I can help further...

My paternal ggf John Shaughnessy was born in Galway Eire in approx 1824 /1826, I know his father's name was William, I dont have a definate name for his mother - however a baptism search came up with Judith Fahey but a couple of years earlier than expected (at 1821 - I can live with that possibility). What I dont know for sure is if the references made to Galway relate to the town or the county. Does anyone have any idea as to how I could verify this. I am in England so a quick visit to various record offices is not viable.
