Genealogy centre is about 5 minutes walk from mitchell can be tricky booking a place, sometimes its better just to turn up in hope of a cancelled place.

I have heard about the Poor law records , I will surely want to look at them .

I didn't know about the genealogy centre is that near the Mitchell ?

All searches at mitchell are free , only charges would be for printed copies of the data you want to save , No Booking required either
TIP ...... try searching for family surnames in the Poor Law records these can hold lots of family information

Do you know about the genealogy centre in Park Circus you can search for and view BMD certificates there for a fee of £14

I am hoping to visit the mitchell library in Glasgow in the next couple of weeks , does anyone know if there is a fee for searching and should I book a time slot. ?, Think I will be spending most of the day there as I have a lot of relatives to try and find.
