I have a marriage certificate from America dated 1893 but it doens't include father's names or occupations. Is this the norm for American certificates?

thanks, Lou

There were abt 4 dozen standards, since each state had its own ideas. Just like some UK m.certs say nothing abt the mothers of the bride and groom.
