Death certificate of 1920

If they are the correct certs. the wife's should show her as 'wife of (name)' if he was still alive.

Maiden names were not added to death certificates until 1969 I think.

Hi
Can anyone tell me what would be on a death certificate from 1920.
I have justfound two names on the death indexes and wondered if the female one would have a maiden name.
Both died 1920 ; the wife a quarter before the husband.
