Louisa Parr married a Bernhard Hermann (a German) 1896, Islington, London. Trying to find the Parr side of the family. Have marriage cert. of Louisa and Bernhard and fathers name is Richard John Parr and in pressence was an Isabella and Clara Parr. If any one recognises these names or may have any information it would be a great help.
Thanks.

Hi Kathleen, thanks for beeing so speedy!
It does have age on the marriage cert. which is 29 and for bernhard 37 but these are a little mixed up I think as I know that Bernhard was born in 1857 which would of made him 39 and I believe Louisa would of been 27.
Louisa died 1944 WW2 and is listed in the CWGC at the age of 73, and on a 1911 census her age last b'day was 44. So now I'm a little confused I thought she was born 1871 but looking at what you have just found for me it looks like she was older that we thought? It looks like you found the correct family though.
Thanks, Susan

Hi Maureen,
It looks like the same family as it does mention that Richrad john was a cabinet maker on the marr. cert. of Louisa and Bernhard, but i'm a little confused as if it is now Parr or Tarr ? I have looked at the cert. again and it is in all curly writting and it could be Tarr and not Parr. can you explain it. Kathleen had also found identical info. but then Parr.
Regards
Susan

It's PARR. The transcription error on the 1871 was due to just what you described-"curly handwriting"!!
