I just like to say when researching your tree please check any information you are given. I do not wish to upset anyone, but when i start my tree i was given some information and it was wrong . You will save yourself some time in the long run. Familysearch is a good site and it is free

I totally agree with you Sandra. Check and then double check all your info. Based on misinformation from 'living' family I followed the wrong tree for over 2 years.

Do put the source of your information on your tree, - in the notes if there isn't room in the source section. If you haven't a document, say "it's from X's tree" to demonstrate that it's unchecked, and do say if it's censuses, BMD, family gossip or whatever
