right to start from the begining i,ve got a norris lawley born 1889 in denaby married in june 1909 hemsworth and then in the 1911 census allthough they have got him down as norris hawley his wife was called hannah and had been married 2yrs which ties in with the marriage in 1909 they then had a son in 1915 mothers maiden name hewitt so i looked up hannah hewitt marriage in june 1909 and there was one but it was a different place ???????

oh i ment to say that they had got the marriage to hannah in1916 the year after her son was bornx

Is it possible his 1st wife died & the birth you have found is with his 2nd wife.It´s quite a long time between the marriage & the birth for it to be the 1st child from the marriage.
People tended to die unexpectedly in those days. My g ggrandfather was married 3 times & his 2nd wife only lived about 18 months after the marriage.

Looks like he married twice or there are two Norris Lawleys.

You need to buy the birth cert for the child concerned and the marriage cert. to check the names.
