they have

Binstead, Hants as reg district Isle of Wight from 1837 until 1933

Binsted, Hants as reg district Alton from 1837 to 1974

Thanks for that . l have rechecked and it definitely says Binstead but in Hants.
Have you any idea for that village?

Can anyone tell me whih registration district Binstead was in in the 1840/50s.
l have an ancestor born there but living elsewhere in 1851 census. l am hoping to find a marriage in the 1840s.
