Hi

I don't mean to moan, but I have contacted several people this past week, as I think they may be relevant to my search, but not one has replied. It just feels disappointing, as it is difficult enough to research sometimes and a 'sorry could not help' would be better than nothing at all.

I may have got the wrong people, but an acknowledgement of my contact would have been nice, even if it isn't the people I think it is!!

We are all in the same boat, trying to find people!!

Two have, but the others are unopened. Maybe I'm just being impatient, but I would always reply to anyone even if I could not help. I'll give it another week or so and see what happens.

I think it is to do with the fact that because I do not know if it is just not the person I want, then it would be nice to know so I could then cross them off the list. I'm not planning on quitting just yet - just feeling a bit exasperated as I'm doing the research on behalf of a friend for his family, and he keeps asking me if i've heard anything back, and am dreading the 'no' every time!!!

I put meself up for it, lol, so can't complain really!!

You could wait a few more weeks, if still no news send another one.
Maybe they are on holiday or ill or just not bothered anymore.

I must admit I've opened a few but not had time to answer right away. Then i forget lol.
