Hi Margaret, make sure that you narrow the search sufficiently so that you don't have pages and pages of results. There's a certain knack so play around with the system before committing yourself. Good luck :)

If it's a marriage certificate from 1862 and if you just want the info from it you don't have to buy the certificate.

You can buy 30 credits for £6 and it takes 1 credit to find the record and then if you know it's the right one it's only another 5 credits to view the image of the original register page.

You can then download or print a copy instantly. But beware....... it's very addictive!

It will be 1 Credit to locate the index of it,,then 5 credits to download the copied image and save to your documents,,,,
