I need help please.
William Dold married march 1891 camberwell 1d/1152,
i need to find his wife,does that mean sending for the marriage certificate??Helen.

if you click on the page num on FreeBMD it brings up the other people on that page then you would have to cross reference them with the 1901 census

un fortunately there seems to be one female name missing

You're fortunate it is a fairly unusual name.

If you check the census for 1901 you will see that his wife is called Florence. Referencing this back to the BMD ref you have, this makes her Florence Maria Holmes.

Normally it would - GRO £7 - you have to buy certs to ensure the right line is being followed. However, it may be that ancestry have this one on line in their latest LMA register images.

Yes, LMA makes a good cross reference.

However, many of us are unable to access that as we have few if any London ancestors and the extra subscription isn't worth it just for the other bits you get.
