Leni,

When you are on ancestry, click the internet protected mode whiich will be on the right hand side down at the bottom of the page. Disable it for Ancestry.

Save the image to your computer giving the file a name so you can easily find it again.

It should then be in your documents.

Is there a 'Printer Friendly' box to click on, as there is on FMP?

Thank you Christine, yes, I do have Vista and after taking Brummiejans advice I still could not do it.
As you have probably gathered I am not very computer literate!

If you are using Vista and Internet Explorer, you may have to disable internet protected mode to be able to save the images.

Try clicking on "start" then "my documents". Hope you gave it a name you can spot!

If I want to print a census image I save it to my computer and then print from there.

Hi Leni

Are you changing your print setting to print Landscape? If you are and you are still having problems then all I can suggest is that you save the image to your computer and try printing from there, see if that works.

I have found a relative on the 1871 census on Ancestry, but everytime I try to print it off I can`t print it in A4 size, it comes out
in 8x4 size.
What am I doing wrong?
