Historical electoral rolls in the UK are only searchable by address. They are usually available at the local main library.

There are some Electoral Australian rolls on Ancestry. The last available one is 1954 and is searchable by name. A yob helps filter results.

If you are referring to recent or current Electoral rolls, they are available on 192.com, which is free to search, but pay to view. Bear in mind that a number of people refuse permission for their names to included on the commercially available roll.

If you are looking for a living person in the UK, then both Jean and Whirley have threads offering to do look ups for you.

Hi does anyone no how or which electoral roll i would get on to find a sally dillon? there is a sally dillon snape on one of the trees same age and birth year ,but has not replied to my message,so maybe its an old posting many thanx mgt
