Rose, 1861 wouldn't show him as a widow if he's married Rebecca sometime between 1851 census when he was with Mary Ann and the 1861 census being taken

Hi,
Sincere apologies, its been a long day! I think it is possible to be the same William even t hough the surname is spelt different.
1851 with Mary Anna states his age 25 and 1861 with Rebecca states his age as 35! I had thought Mary Anna may have died as there are 2 deaths listed on Freebmd which could be possibles but then the 1861 census with spouse Rebecca would have shown him as widow?

I have found William on 1881 census still in Barking with 2 daughters now a widow.

Just under the section , may not be your family on the same page in Ancestry it gives 1851 census William Elmore with spouse Mary Anna born Essex. Can you give me those details as well please.

I entered William Ellmore 1826 Barking Essex England and saw 1861/1871 with spouse Rebecca.

The other listing was William Elmore abt 1826 spouse Mary Anna on 1851 census, born Essex.

Thank you for your quick reply. I am most confused now as the William Ellmore 1871 census on Ancestry states he was born in Barking Essex and you have given me his place of birth as Oxfordshire??

The William Ellmore I am looking for was born in Barking Essex and St Margarets Church was their local!

Hi
I have details of William Ellmore son of Thomas Ellmore and Elizabeth Weatherhead born Barking Essex and being baptised 17/10/1826.

I have also seen on Ancestry a William Elmore born abt 1826
with spouse Mary Anna on 1851 census in Essex.

Please could someone let me have the details of 1851 census of William Elmore and 1861/1871 of William Ellmore and Rebecca.
I have not found another William so it is possible that he re-married?
