I guess you are all way ahead of me but I just noticed this collection on Family Search, images by parish no search facility.

Similar to the collection for Northumberland which I have found invaluable.

Where on the site is it? I cannot see an obvious place to look ...

I have a whole bunch of Norfolk ancestors and it might be really really useful.

Cheers

Did you mean to put a link? I can't find it either.

I am looking for East Dereham and North Elmham mostly.

I'm interested in Toft Monks and Lingwood in particular.

I did manage to find the right place but couldn't find either parish.

And dont forget the long present norfolk transcription archives and the freereg site, both of which have a great deal of Norfolk records transcribed.

Yes I have found those three sites between them have given me lots of info.

It's always nice to have the image too with the signaturesif you can get it, one death record yesterday told me that the man who had died had also been the parish clerk for 42 years.

I had to larf reading one last night the priest sounds a right loony, scribbles all over the register of weird and wonderful poetry and then a note (1735) "xxxxxxxxxxxxxx (a name heavily scored out) told me they had not come to communion oil because they feared I would poison them" Blimey!

Just raising this again, have been on there over weekend and found loads more useful info for my tree.

It's great if the parish you need is on there.

It is handy to know, but many of the records I am interested in are difficult to read.

You might also like to look at the Free Reg site which has some useful Norfolk coverage.
