agnes mcbride was married on dec qtr 1918 st giles 1b-172 to a ?watts a/c to freebmd, but on ancestry they say she was married to ? vatts 1b-1172. which one should i send for i want to find christian name of her spouse. thank you in advance

Marriages Dec 1918 (>99%)
Watts Alfred G McBride St. Giles 1b 1172

You can search by specifying place, year and surname. An error somewhere!

I think the entry for her is wrong as 172 is St Pancras by the looks of it. Try looking at the original - my computer is being very slow (click on the little picture to the right that looks like specs!).

Barry, mightn't it be better to order under Alfred's name as we are fairly sure the ref. is right for him?
If in doubt msc you can contact the GRO to check the original - I have found them very efficient:
