Hi

His wifes will was written in 1839 and she died in 1841 in Marylebone Lane, Middlesex.
They were married in Kings Lynn. They had their last child that I am aware of in 1803. The family is also known to of lived in and around Bermondsey but not sure if this was after their fathers death or not.

The only other information I have on Valentine Riches is that he was born in Tittishall Norfolk C1765 and that he was a Master Mariner.

Thanks again for all your help. I am off to bed now but will check in the morning to see if anyone has had anymore success that me. lol

Best wishes
Tracie.

As you will know, you have to trawl FMP quarter by quarter, so a year and quarter would be brilliant to know.

Hi

My sub to find my past has expired and I wondered if someone could do me a big favour and look to see if there is a death for a Valentine Riches, a mariner, maybe died at sea.

I have been unable to find his death in the records for 1837 onwards.
I have his wifes will and in 1839 it states that she is a widow.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards
Tracie.
