I don't know if this link below has been added before, but I was recently forwarded this link by someone in Australia. Intitially the Australian Cemeteries Index only covered NSW but it is now being gradually extended to the remainder of Australia.

Photographs of headstones accompany the searchable index and you are permitted to use these photographs on your own public trees provided you add an acknowledgment for Australian Cemeteries Index austcemindex.com.

I have already found the resting place of two of my ancestors.

Mick in the sticks

Like Jackdaws, I believe I too have found my great Aunt's resting place and also like Jackdaws I would like to find where I go for any further information. I will watch this thread eagerly. As she died in 1982 hopefully there will be family still alive out there. I am so excited by this find.
