Lots of us are finding problems with the search engine on fmp. It seems better if you go to the official 1911 site:

http://www.1911census.co.uk/

look for your relative, note down the exact year and registration district, and then go to fmp and put the same details in.

Fmp also doesn't seem to like middle names, so leave them out.

I have a subscription with Find My Past for the above Census it worked ok in the past but now when I do a search there are always no matches so I checked using a previous census from the site and it returned no matches please can anyone advise me. What can be wrong?
