Hi is there a way of searching de poll records? My grandad's family at some point changed their name by de poll i know the old and new name but i don't know how far down the line this may have happened. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks

Try googling deed poll - not sure if you'll get much luck, but worth looking

If the deed poll was properly enrolled, it is possible to view for free on The London Gazette online archive.
It is worth looking there as it is a great resource anyway.
