computer advice please

i have downloaded firefox as i was told it,s fast i find the dead opposite it,s very slow . is there any other,s that i could try .

I have used Firefox for some time now and it's great - fast and reliable, absolutely no problems. Perhaps you need a clean-up (not personally!). I took Inspector Green Pen's advice on this, if he's about?

hi lynn & wend thanks for your replys i took inspector green pen,s advice and had a good clean up and installed firefox. i think i will have to give it a little longer trial to see if i can get used to it. msc

No, I'm not sure why it should be slow either.

I have used Firefox for some three years now and have always found it quicker that IE - it carries much less baggage around with it. Even my wife won't go back to IE on her laptop.

Keeping your PC up to date and clean is important too. I did a tidy-up just before Christmas ans it was surprising just how many programs were loading on start-up. It seems that everything you install start something running when you log in. Most completely unnecessary.

Hi inspecter green pen thank you for all your advice i have now cleaned my computer and am now running firefox.. the only problem i have with it is when i replyed a little while ago i hit the submit button it then sent me to my search this has happened a couple of time,s any idea,s?. msc
