Printing a tree

Yes, I know it was only last night that I was moaning about people not replying when you contact them about a hot match!
Anyway, today someone has shared her tree with me and we definitely have a connection. Trouble is she has about 1600 names in her tree and obviously I don't want all of them in mine.
So, big job though it would be, I decided to print out her tree so that I could actually look at it all in one piece rather than flicking back and forth through screens, to work out just which of our relatives connect.
I've had about 6 tries on two different computers with no luck.
One machine tells me that print preview is not available for large trees but that I can continue by selecting the pages I want. Given that there's no preview I selected "all". 4 or 5 goes later I've still had not one sheet of paper come out of the printer. I've opened the printer folder and nothing there.
Tried another machine. 2 sheets of paper with one name each on and then 66 blank pages.
I can print my own tree ok.
Anyone got any suggestions please?

This is the advice from FAQ's under Help at top of page:

How do I print trees?

If you go to your tree you need to select the 'full tree'. You can do this by selecting the 'full tree' view at the top of the page. Click on 'print' to see the print menu. Full instructions are given on how to print out your tree here. You can print the entire tree. You can print a single page too depending on the size of your tree.

You can print out any trees that you have access to in the same way that you print out your own. You must view it in the 'full' tree view and then you'll see the option to print.

Why do you want to print their tree? When I had a reply from another member who had over 2,000 people in her tree I simply typed in the name of the person of the hot match in the search box just above the tree area. It took me a couple of goes to get into the right screen area, but it is a lot simpler and cheaper than printing out a massive tree. It will take you directly to the correct person without having to wade through loads of names of people in whom you have no interest.
