Hi, I have a relative born in Windle, Lancs in 1846 however can't find WIndle on the OPC site, any idea what it would be under?

WINDLE, a township in Prescot parish, Lancashire; containing part of the town of St. Helens

Local studies information is held at St Helens library.

the quickest way to find anyone on the lan-opc site is to use the search facility - the last option on the LH side. That way you do not need to know the parish. If you need any more help come back to us with a name and maybe something can be found to help

Just for information

St Helens cemetary is free to search and gives everyone buried in the plot and whether purchased or not
