Hi all

I was recommended to add a post-em for a birth cert that I don't need but can't see how to do it on FreeBMD. Can some kind person take me through it please?
Thanks very much!

Find the entry that you want to add a Postem to

On the right you will see in red the word "Info" - and click on "Info"

Opens another screen up

Find this phrase
You may add a postem to this entry (see below for explanation).

You can then click on the words shown in blue - add a postem

Opens up a screen - scroll and there is a box to type in

If its for a birth cert that you do not need then you could add the details to BMDshare

Thanks very much Glitter Baby for your help. I've now successfully added it! With regard to BMDShare though, it says you can't submit a birth cert for a living person and I don't know whether this person is alive or not (born in Sep 1929 so would be 80 now).

I would not risk it then, Silverbirch.
