Ancestry Trees - deletion - CLOSED

Thanks guys - that really helps - want to experiment first so didn't want to put dud data and then it get left there to see how it works.

Yes you can its quite a simple process, but if you dont have a tree on there then perhaps the info on deletion will not show.

If you have a tree you go to the bar where it states "Family tree" click on that but ignore the drop down menu, once clicked you will see "manage tree" click on that scroll down you will see "delete tree"
once clicked it is not reversible, everything goes.

Hi Carol,

Yes you can delete the tree. Often you might need to upload newer details so it is handy to be able to delete and resubmit a new version.

Can someone with knowledge of maintaining a Tree on Ancestry advise me if it is possible to delete a tree if I decide I no longer want it there. Have never used Ancestry to submit a tree so not sure of the process and couldn't see anything in Help.
