Thanks for the tip Brenda.

I have just rushed excitedly to Find My Past as my G.grandad was a milatary pensioner.

I thought I'd do the 14 day free trial. From what I can make out the military stuff should be covered by this subscription, I have found three George Haines in my search, but when I try to see the original images it says my subscription does not cover these.

Anyone else had this problem am I missing something?

I don't know...I post something from the Findmypast website and within a couple of hours they go and update it!!! :-)

Still leaves me looking at 2011 for the info I need..Sigh.. :-(

Just read in the Telegraph that records of ordinary soldiers from 1760 -1913 are going on line today with Find my Past.
