parish st giles in the heath

ive googled this one says lauunceston cornwall one says devon can anyone explain this please
i have ancestors there & want to know what to put as the district cornwall or devon
they were bap there mid to late 1700s

As the parish is 5 miles north east of Launceston, and 9 miles south west of Holsworthy, it may well be just on the county boundary line.

It is very close to Werrington, but whether you record them as Devon Or Cornwall it won't make a lot of difference.

You could always add a note to your record(s)
