I have successfully located a marriage for Sidney Mountcastle (born 1879 in Plymouth) in the 4th quarter of 1910 at Plymouth, Devon. On the same page there are two possible 'brides'. Is there any way that I can pick the correct one, short of buying the certificate? He was one of my great uncles and I know he died in Llanelli, Wales in 1959.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can cross-check in 2 ways:

1. look for births in that area with each MMN.
2. Look for him in 1911 cross-checking wife's 1st name.
