Hi everyone,

Just wondering if anyone could please lend me a hand (and their brains!)

I have the name Bathsheba in my tree for four women in Cornwall in the early to mid 1700’s.

They seem to pop in and out and are hard to trace beyond their marriages.

Can anyone think of an alternate name for Bathsheba? I looked on the net and found these alternates:

Bathsheba has 10 variant forms: Bathseva, Bathshua, Batsheba, Batsheva, Batshua, Batya, Bethsabee, Bethsheba, Sheba and Sheva.

Aside from Beth or Elizabeth I can’t think of any other and am hoping someone else has this name in their family tree somewhere!

Thanks

Rachelle
