I have the 1891 census of the family in Edgbaston B'ham, but am not sure of his parents. I'm not sure about them on the 1871 census.

Thanks Potty, I thought it might be Edwin and Ann - but hadn't spotted the previous marriage. I suppose the marriage cert would be the final way forward and proof.
