Death certs in the U.S.

It's just like the UK - the info varies over time, and also with jurisdiction.
E.g., one can find UK d.certs that give names and ages of children at date of death (plus age at death of predeceding children), and place of burial

(Alameda Co is in Calif, and includes Oakland.)

Not sure of current prices But a few years ago I got a cert from Alameda County,
there are two types, ONE (legal)you have to prove who you are,and why you want it..

and the other informational only which is cheaper.

info on that, was name, occupation, residence, informant, marital status,spouses name, and country of origin and of course cause of death, interment company and method of disposal..
