Advanced search

If you click on My threads* you should see both of your threads (conversations) and be able to delete one of them. You haven't done anything wrong but it's very confusing when you start out! You'll soon get the hang of it........ honest!

What you have just started is a thread (you post a question which is a post) and when you get answers (other posts from other people) the whole lot together is called a thread.

If you put a question on one of the boards about one particular person then you are not supposed to put a question about that same person separately or people will duplicate searching for information for you and possibly waste their time if the information has already been found by someone else.

You have a thread about Jack Redmore on the "Trying to Find" board.

You should go back to that thread and add to it by clicking on the purple reply button.

I have been told that I opened another thread what does that mean, should I only have the name of my original search??
