My dad was in the Army and I would like to obtain records of his service, enlistment. discharge, rank and postings, can anyone help

I obtained my Dad's service record - if you phone 0141 224 2335 - they should take your name and address and send you an application form.
I think the cost was £30.

In the site that was given - http://www.veterans-uk.info/service_records/army.html - there are forms to download and complete.

The system now is that each document relating to a person's service record is photocopied and provided to the applicant.
