Piggots directories are sometimes available in the county archives or main library for the relevant area.

Can someone please advise me? I have just read that the above contains records of commercial travellers, of which my gg grandfather was one. I have never used this, and despite googling it am none the wiser, just getting more and more confused!
Would appreciate any guidance, thank you.
