The above is the best way, but prior to 1911 being available the other way was to search for offspring on Freebmd.

That worked. I had my doubts because some of the public trees on Ancestry said she had died in 1911 but I'm beginning to think that wasn't correct. I think it was much later but still need to confirm.

Find the person that you are looking for in the 1911 census.
You should have enough details of the partner to find them in 1901.

Thanks for that Jonesy but I thought I had seen a thread about this before and I thought you gave the answer (I could be wrong). The people I'm looking for married in 1904. There are four people on the Ancestry listing and one is the person I'm looking for (male) and two women. I thought there was a way of eliminating one of the women.
