What year did you have Leah Bolton marrying Arthur W Crouch please, also can you remember the area, still in Lancashire or further afield?

I havent found any marriages for Margaret, Leah or Elma, I havent found deaths either. I have all the information for Harry.

I did find one marriage for a Leah Bolton in Wellington, Shropshire, but sadly this one isnt mine.

Hi Rose,

Both Mabel 30/10/1928 and Mildred 29/11/1942 are the children of Elma Hamilton Bolton (nee Margerison) and Robert Arthur Dugdale.

Harry, Margaret, Leah and Elma are the children of Elma Hamilton Bolton and Harry Bolton.

Mabel was my godmother and died in 2004, Mildred is my Mum.

Mabel looks to be a daughter but Karen never mentioned her. I think she is one Robert Dugdale's daughters that Karen knows about, the other being Mildred.

I have been researching my family tree since 1997, but have come unstuck on Margaret, Leah and Elma Bolton.

Margaret, Leah and Elma were the daughters of Elma Hamilton Bolton (nee Margerison) and Harry Bolton. They also had a son Harry Jr who died in the early part of this decade. I have some information on Harry, his marriage, children etc, but I have failed to find out any information on the three sisters.

Elma and Harry Sr split up in the latter half of the 1920s and the four children were brought up by their father.

There the trail runs cold, Harry it seems didnt keep touch with his sisters and I have failed to find marriages for them. Harrys daughter did give sketchy info that her father didnt keep touch, said little about them, she thought one may be in Australia and one down south - not a lot of help.

I am part of the other family in that Elma had two further daughters with her new partner Robert Arthur Dugdale and it seems she had no further contact with her first family.

I would dearly love to fine out what in fact happened to Elmas daughters as these are indeed my Aunties.

Im grateful of any help that can be given.
