thanks for looking . the family did stay named as donno . alfred married in 1921 and on his marriage cert i has his address as islington and father charles donno.
i suppose it is one of those that you could try all variations for donno and still not turn up with anything.

i have a family on the 1901 census and i am trying to find them on the 1911 census. i have a subscription so searching isnt costly but i cant find them and wondered if anyone has any tips that i could try.
the surname is DONNO so god knows what it has been transcribed as.
