This should really be on the general board but as there have been a few threads about naming patterns I thought I would mention this here.

Just be grateful you don't live, or your ancestors didn't live in Bali. Their naming pattern is as follows regardless of boy or girl:-

First Child - Wayan
Second Child - Mardi
Third Child - Nyoman
Fourth Child - Cetuk

When you get to the fifth child you start again. So, if there are five children, two children and both parents could be named Wayan.
