Trying to get a scenario for this family. John Collins is not Irish, therefore unlikely to be the father of the children born there, and who were likely not called Collins. John Collins has son John born c May 1880, wife dies. No John Collins's registered Jun Qtr London. Possible John William registered Sept Qtr Holborn (right district for where they were living). Possible death of an Ellen Collins Sep 1880 aged 24.

He then meets Rebecca who is already pregnant by her first husband who has also died and has two small children. She gives birth to Daniel in December 1880, birth registered in March qtr 1881 as Collins, but he is likely not a Collins.
