lol Meg, he is a veteran 10 miles 1hr 15mins.

Back with acute indigestion!

I cannot understand how that surname is proving so blasted elusive.

I am off to recheck my data first.

If anyone comes up with an idea please sing it out.

Thanks

Sue

Problem is that there is no way of knowing if the 1899 birth is correct.

Have you checked in Scotland or passenger lists

RutlandBelle Report 4 Apr 2010 16:22

is there an address for the baptism that I could look on 1911. What was her mother's name did she remarry?

supercrutch

supercrutch Report 4 Apr 2010 16:19

Not yet!!

Know it's maybe between 1905 (last baptism I can find) and 1919 but no luck. Bloomin' annoying because it's a good surname.

Sue I have looked for a death for Alexander Rea without success., have you found one?

supercrutch

supercrutch Report 4 Apr 2010 16:09

Thanks Meg, I don't think that is a direct line, do you?

I accept that her father could well have been born outside London but where is she in 1901/1911 *sigh*
