Which site are you using to look at the census images. On Ancestry you can to to either the previous pge or the next page just by clicking on the arrows at the top of the page. You can't do this on Genes. If you give some names someone will be able to look for you.

Ah! Many thanks. Yes I have Ancestry access and will try there instead. Thanks again.

On Ancestry you can view the previous page.

I don't think you can if you are looking at the census images on GR.

If you are looking on Ancestry (and I think FMP) you can go to the previous or next page when you are looking at the image.

If you don't have Ancestry access if you post the ref of the page you are looking at and the names etc then someone should be able to look at the previous or next page for you.

Hi, I have had a couple of occasions where I have found a named person on a census, but the head of the household is on a previous page. Unfortunately in both instances, the person I have found has a different family name to the rest of the household and accordingly I don't know the name of the head. On one of these occasions the name of the road was missing at the top of the page as well, so I was snookered! Is anyone able to give me advice on how to get round this please? Thank you.
